Overview
Raja Krishna has dedicated his legal career to combatting corporate abuse of our communities, environment, and economy. He advocates for cities and states seeking justice for harm caused by decades of deception by the fossil fuel industry and for people whose drinking water has been contaminated by toxic substances like PFAS.
Before joining Sher Edling, Raja served as a prosecutor and Honors Program attorney with the United States DOJ’s Antitrust Division, where he helped lead complex criminal investigations of over thirty corporations across five countries. Raja graduated Order of the Coif with pro bono honors from Berkeley Law, where he was an editor for the California Law Review and Ecology Law Quarterly; co-directed the Workers’ Rights Clinic; and advocated in international court on behalf of Liberian communities displaced by foreign-owned rubber plantations. Before law school, he was a high school STEM teacher in Hawai‘i.
Raja clerked for the Honorable Doris L. Pryor of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and then-Chief Justice Daniel E. Winfree of the Alaska Supreme Court.
