Overview
Joshua joined Sher Edling to help hold powerful actors accountable for environmental harm. Since joining the firm, he has contributed to its efforts to protect communities and public entities through complex, high-impact environmental cases. Over the past four years, Joshua has developed experience across multiple stages of litigation, assisting with case development, document management, and discovery. He works closely with attorneys and staff to manage case materials and support strategies that move matters toward resolution.
Joshua began his legal career as a JusticeCorps Intern at the San Francisco Superior Court ACCESS Center, where he assisted self-represented litigants with domestic violence and civil harassment restraining orders, small claims matters, and legal name and gender change petitions.
He grew up in Oceanside, California, and began his higher education at MiraCosta College before transferring to San Francisco State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Philosophy.
He is motivated by work that promotes accountability and delivers meaningful, lasting benefits to the communities affected by environmental harm.
