Overview
Abigail Avilucea is an environmental advocate focusing on protecting public interest through complex legal and regulatory matters. With extensive experience in electronic discovery, she brings together technology and discovery strategy to navigate large environmental litigation.
Before joining Sher Edling, Abigail managed the discovery process for the County of Santa Clara. There she developed discovery policies and procedures, oversaw legal holds and preservation practices, and supported complex litigation matters. Prior to Santa Clara County, she litigated large class action lawsuits representing government entities and public interest groups.
Abigal was a law clerk in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency working on enforcement and compliance of private companies. She furthered her environmental law experience serving as a Legal Fellow with Public Employees for Environmental Responsibilities (PEER).
