Overview

Anthony joined Sher Edling in 2022 after receiving his J.D. from Yale Law School. He represents public entities that seek to hold corporate polluters accountable for harming people and the environment.

Anthony’s active matters include representing the State of California and eight California local governments in their lawsuits seeking compensation for the harm caused by major fossil fuel companies’ efforts to sow deception about their products’ climate change risks. He also represents 47 Bay Area counties and municipalities in their cases against Monsanto for causing widespread polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) contamination of the San Francisco Bay. Anthony’s practice spans all phases of trial and appellate litigation, including law-and-motion practice, affirmative and defensive discovery, oral argument, and appellate briefing.
