Overview
Latoya R. Concepcion joined Sher Edling LLP in 2026 as a Staff Attorney. She brings a strong foundation in complex litigation, spanning more than a decade on high-stakes matters involving antitrust, consumer protection, and civil rights matters in the private sector before becoming an attorney. Latoya has broad experience ranging from drafting pleadings, drafting and responding to dispositive motions, discovery (lay witness and expert related discovery), and trial preparation. She is proficient in e-Discovery, including Everlaw, Relativity, and other e-Discovery platforms.
Latoya is proud to be a part of the firm’s Climate Deception team. She works collaboratively with the team to hold major members of the Fossil Fuel industry accountable for deceiving and failing to warn consumers of the harmful effects of their fossil fuel products, greenwashing, amongst other things.
Latoya is a member of the Legal Studies Advisory Board for her alma mater, Berkeley College. There she contributes her time to help develop, update and evaluate its undergraduate legal studies curriculum. On her spare time, Latoya enjoys live music, nature walks, and spending quality time with her family.
