Tim has committed his career to fighting for the health of the environment and the livelihoods of those who sustainably utilize natural resources. Before joining Sher Edling as an associate, Tim was the Executive Director of the nonprofit Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen’s Associations and Institute for Fisheries Resources (PCFFA/IFR). At PCFFA/IFR, he advocated for sustainable natural resource management and habitat protection for commercially valuable marine fish species. Tim’s work bridged the legal and political gap between conservation and consumptive use.
Prior to taking over at PCFFA/IFR, Tim was an associate at Laughlin, Falbo, Levy and Moresi in Oakland, California. In 2013, he earned his law degree with honors from Golden Gate University, where he was a member of the Environmental Law Journal and GGU’s National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition team.
